[Software Description] This software will resolve the drive error (E30) message that mistakenly appears on Windows Storage Server-installed NAS devices by deleting the registry key. [Notes] • After the software finishes executing, the TeraStation will restart automatically. [How to Install This Software] 1. Download and save the installer file to a shared folder on the TeraStation. 2. Connect to the TeraStation through the remote desktop. 3. Extract the file you have downloaded. 4. Open the extracted folder and double-click ‘removeRegistry.bat’. 5. When the “Permanently delete the registry key” message is displayed, enter “Yes”. 6. When the “The operation completed successfully.” message is displayed, press any key. 7. The TeraStation will restart automatically. The E30 message should clear after the TeraStation boots.
