It updates the firmware to Ver. 1.35. If your TS-RHTGL/R5 has had Ver. 1.35 or later installed, you do not have to update it. *If TS-RHTGL/R5 become EM (recovery mode), you need to recover by using the update. [How to check the firmware version] Open NasNavigator's search screen, and select TS-RHTGL/R5. The number shown in "Firm" on the bottom left indicates the firmware version of that product. If the "name" field on the bottom left shows "TS-RHTGL-EM***", it is in EM mode. [Cautions] - Failure to update the firmware and it ends up with the repair, you may be charged for the cost of the repair. - It may take a long time to complete the update.
